Just a few more days of school left, but it's a busy time. We held our Spring Program last week, Kindergarteners celebrated on Friday, and Sixth Graders will graduate on Tuesday. OMG, those children who have to wear school uniforms throughout the year really blossom on these special days.
Photo slideshows have been posted on our website with more to come.
Have a great summer, and thanks to all who've visited our sites!

Wow! Thanks for stopping by our school's website, guestbook, and blog! I haven't posted to the blog in over a year, gave up on it since I didn't really have anything to say about Hickam that I don't put on our school's website, so was surprised to see a comment here!
I'm glad you have such fond memories of your time at our school, and I hope you will be able to make it back here for a visit. You have a great memory, since 45 years is a looong time :) Bring the whole family!
Thanks again for visiting our sites!
I know of no pictures of Julian Ave at Hickam. The street I lived on I believe has changed names.I went on goggle earth and it couldn't find my street and I was on the first right turn as you came through the gat.The street was Tinker Ave.It's good to hear from everyone.Keep them comin'!!
Hi, John, thanks for visiting our website and blog! I was going to suggest what Robert mentioned: Google Earth. The picture of our school on Google Earth is probably a couple of yrs old since we're no longer allowed to park where teachers' cars are parked and 8th & 9th Streets are still 2-way.
Sorry, I don't have any pictures of Julian Ave, Beard Ave, or the path along the water since I just take pics of school activities. If I do take some or find some, I'll let you know. Hmm, have you tried Flickr? I just searched and I found some of streets, OC, park along what's now the path...

I was a Teacher's Aide for the school year 1987-1988 for Mrs. Wong. Seeing the pictures brings so many wonderful memories of when we were stationed at Hickam. Thank you for bringing back some of the happiest times of my life.
We love your blog, we are also on holiday but it is winter here.
